Mavis Tires and Brakes in Hillsborough, NC

I am very unsatisfied with the service that I received from the Mavis in Hillsborough yesterday. I went there & asked to check my passenger rear tire for a leakage of some sort because my tire pressure was 17. The guy sprayed some stuff on my tire & then they came back and said that I did not have a leak but that I needed 4 new tires. He also said the thread was below the level of repair. I woke up today & the pressure was down again. I took my car to another place and they TOOK MY TIRE OFF & there was a nail in my tire. They patched up my tire and I was on my way.Mavis did not even take the time to take my tire off to inspect it. Had they did, they would have seen the nail & I would not have wasted all the unnecessary time that I did. They also lied telling me I needed new tires & my tires could not be fixed anyway, which was also a lie.I feel like because I was a female is the reason I got the service that I received. And I will NEVER come back & will share this

Just wrapped up service at Mavis Tire on Hillsborough Road. Carlos and Jared were terrific to work with and got me in and out quickly with new front brake pads and oil change. Really great experience and no upselling, which I appreciate.

Had a very good experience at Mavis today. I want to thank Johad and Keem for taking care of my car, after a very long day. I was literally spiraling from all kinds of stress, and the folks at Mavis were very caring and understanding. They made my day! I got my oil changed and replaced two tires in very reasonable time and cost. I will be back.

I got a flat in walmart parking lot, stranded 3 hrs before my dad's birthday party on a Sat at 1pm! Yes a quick change to the spare would have me on my way....had whoever put the tires on previously not severely over tightened the lugs! 2 lugs end up splitting apart from the casing leaving the lug stuck with no way to get it off. After having two diff tire technicians come out an both fail, I was told id have to tow to a shop and have the post broken off and replaced as the lug was seized on. So...I turned to mavis before having to tow to another shop!!!! Mavis' employees took me in with the best customer service, got all my lugs off WITHOUT breaking the post and replaced all lugs so I didn't have the issue again! I'm not going to say what I paid as I don't want them to get reprimanded for being kind but I spend more on food a day!! But I just wanted to point out the kindness and WANT to help me was unmatched! I am beyond appreciative of their help and couldn't refer them more! Cause lets be real its 2025...people are rude and greedy they could of easily turned me away seeing as the first two had wore the lug down to nothing or charged me way more!????????(Pic is BEFORE anyone touched it, when the casing first came off!)

Super fast, great service, very well priced. No shady upselling like Ive seen at a lot of other places. Will be back. Thanks Johad!
