Through the introduction of new materials, Nitto was able to maintain the versatile all-terrain compound while increasing the longevity of the treadwear. For the first time Nitto is backing an all-terrain product with a limited treadwear warranty which covers 50,000 miles for LT-metric and floatation sizes, and 65,000 miles for hard metric sizes.

- Nitto decided to reinforce the coupling joints in the Terra Grappler® G2, which connects the outer most tread blocks to the center blocks, to increase the block edge rigidity.
- Full Depth Sipes
- Terra Grappler® G2 is equipped with full depth siping. Not only do the full depth sipes offer a functional benefit, it helps maintain the appearance of the tread design as the tire wears.
- Shoulder Lugs
- The staggered shoulder lugs on the Terra Grappler® G2 provides additional biting edges in off-road conditions. Further more, the new sidewall designs connect the sidewall lugs starting from the shoulder block down to the middle of the sidewall surface.

Great tires for my truck before my trip I went on
Haven't tried off-road/mudding, but on muddy dirt roads their traction is excellent. On highways their a little noisy and give a bit of vibration, but just a mild hum like most good all terrain tires do.
Overall, very happy so far. A few days after purchase we went on a 1200 mile round-trip to North Georgia. Tires performed flawlessly in light rain, heavy rain, and even some light snow and ice situations. The true test for me, (the reason I bought them) was they easily handled some of the difficult steep unpaved roads and driveways in the North Ga. Mountains. I had a couple of scary issues in the past with my previous road tires. The Grapplers never lost traction in those same situations. That, made it all worth while. As far as noise, of course they are louder than the Michelin Defender road tires that I took off, but it's negligible and the grip makes it well worth the trade off. Too early to tell about tread wear and longevity but as of right now, I am super pleased and would buy again.07 Tundra 5.7 2wd.

Overall the tires are great!
I have only had these tires on for a little while, but they have exceeded my expectations. I was worried that they would be a little louder, since they are wider and taller than stock. However, they are better riding and give my vehicle a much more rigid ride (I did new struts at the same time). I highly recommend these tires to anyone that is looking for a great tire. I will likely put these same tires on it again in the future.

Tires lasted much longer than advertised. Rotated at every oil change. Great in the rain. No issues offroad or in sand. They stayed quiet on the road until the final 5k miles where they developed a drone from feathering. Would, and did, buy again.
