Mavis Tires and Brakes in Athens (Jordan Dr), GA

Went there for wipers and wipers only. They wanted to charge me 60 something dollars and some change, the manager said that was absurd and dropped the price down to 30! Highly recommend this company always great service.

The experience I had here was wonderful John and Justin was great on what they did to my car

They people who work here did a great job taking care of us! We came in to get an alignment and get our brakes fixed and not only did they do it quickly but they also were very helpful in showing us what was wrong with our car. They took us back into the workshop and showed us close up the condition of our pads and rotors and showed us what brand new ones look like so we could see the life we had in our brakes! They also were very friendly and professional. Going to get your car fixed isn't typically considered a pleasant experience, but with Mavis on Jordan Drive, they delivery nothing less.

My brakes were making awful sounds, so I made an appointment with Mavis on Jordan Drive. I needed new break pads and a new rotor, but my husband and I just got married and we couldn't afford both that day, so they gave us a significant discount so we could afford it and I could be on the roads safely. We were in and out in under an hour. Great quality, super helpful, and very quick. Go to this location if you live in the Athens/ Watkinsville area!!!

Very unpleasant experience and I wish I would have went to another shop closer to me. Came in at eight thirty am left around five pm. They kept telling me it's hard to get out and this and that. Six to seven hours is wayyyy out the water for a wait time specially with a toddler. Then the fact I came into that shop with my ABS system working then funny enough when they touch my car and change the wheel hub and bearing now my abs lights on and my car isn't stopping like it should. That's the last time I'll listen to someone's recommendation just to get something done the same day. I honestly should have waited. There's no telling what they did to cause my sensor to go off both of them at that. I regret bringing my car out to Athens. I'f someone comes into a shop with no lights on besides the tire pressure sensor they should Leave with thoes same lights. I never had issues with abs or vsa till I left from there. Not to mention it's still wobbling. Please people read the bad reviews and beware. I was better off finding a shop on my own town rather than coming to another Mavis. Lesson learned and whoever messed up my car karma will find you. Also after I went back to the good Mavis they tell me my vsa isn't getting power to it and that Thursday when I went there they know all my stuff was working and only the tps tire pressure sensor light was on. I'm only posting five stars so that My review gets seen. My wife went into this shop to get her wheel bearing pressed since the shop in winder didn't have one. She was there from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. On top of that she had our 2 year old daughter there as well. That is ridiculously long. Even if something wasn't going right or you people don't know what you're doing just put the wheel back on and let her take her business elsewhere. Instead they messed up her car. Now her vsa and abs lights are on when they previously were not. She went in there with one problem and left with more. An you mean to tell me you know she came there with no abs or vsa lights just a tire pressure sensor light and messed something up and didn't fix it. You think just saying oh pay for just the parts not labor is going to make it right. This is why you can't just bring your car to anyone to work on. Then She takes it back to winder Mavis Saturday and they even knew the lights weren't on previously. Then they even said why did anyone at this store even touch anything besides what they where supposed to be touching. I recommend you guys go to the winder Mavis if you can make that drive. They actually do honestly work and Ms Gillette is an amazing manager there. She's even sorry she sent her out to these people. Ms Gillette got her a new sensor for her car. An she is also going to see what she can do about the abs and vsa system this Monday since she doesn't know much about it. They say her vsa system isn't getting any power to it now and they can't figure out why. Even after resetting codes it still pops up. This is an example of a shady shop. Now if I came in there none of this would have happened. some of these shops think they can get over on woman as well. Also if you did that because she has FDT and mexico stickers on her car that would be very typical of your people to do as well. In the end it will get fixed and sorted out but you people will never touch this car again. Enjoy the five star review and pictures.

Great experience

Had just came from Walmart and had to get some studs replaced, Ryan was very professional and very helpful I would definitely recommend this Mavis tires to anyone that needs tire work and oil jobs!!!!!
