Edited to update after subsequent service:After a previous excellent service I brought my wife's Jeep in for service. Also needed a brake job, this time it turned into a BREAK job. Front Pads, rotors, calipers, $1300. Brakes still squeaking after service. Took it back in, greased again and told it was fixed. Still squeaking. Took it back and told that an axle seal was broken and not something they can repair, "take it to a different shop". Went to a different shop and they told us that the calipers were not the correct calipers for the vehicle, the brake line was kinked and hanging below the drivetrain of the vehicle where something sticking up from the terrain could snag and rip the brake line off. Back to Mavis to have the repair done properly (third time we have brought it back due to continuing issues from the initial service). Correct calipers finally placed. This occurred November of 2024. Fast forward to now (March 2025) and my wife told me after driving "my jeep sounds like it is flapping". I took it out for a drive, heard the sound, identified it as coming from the front driver side. I pulled the front driver tire off and looked at the brakes, the caliper was not bolted on, at all. Two mounting bolts to secure the caliper in place, neither present. The only thing holding the caliper in place was the fact that there was not enough clearance between the wheel well and the rotor to allow the caliper to fall off. This time (the FOURTH problem with a routine brake service) I went out and bought the necessary bolts and completed the brake job myself. In the meantime, my wife is on the phone with Mavis and Aurora (store manager, who has been extremely helpful to the extent of her ability throughout) states that she will bring the necessary bolts and tools to our home and have it fixed. When Aurora and a mechanic got to our house at around 9pm I told her that I would take the parts but did not trust the shop to correctly complete the task. I am a registered nurse, not a certified mechanic. I trusted my own rudimentary mechanical skills over a certified repair shop that advertises brake specialty with the very name of their shop. Today my wife brought the Jeep to a local Jeep dealership to have it fully inspected to ensure no other negligence had occurred in the failure to repair our vehicle. It took the service manager of the Jeep dealership getting involved before the regional manager of this Mavis would approve paying for the inspection (something only necessary due to the gross incompetence of the employees at this location). $1300, literal months of issues, and a third party inspection later and it still took an act of God for the regional manager to even approve an inspection to ensure that no other negligence or incompetence occurred during what should have been a basic routine task. If I displayed this level of incompetence in my job as a nurse I would at best lose my license and at worst cost a patient their life.Dakota and crew were fantastic. Came in for a brake issue not thinking to check warranty because brakes usually are considered wear and tear components and so not covered. Issue turned out to be something not related to wear and tear so Dakota advised that I call and see if it was covered under warranty. The issue was bandaided temporarily for a very reasonable price. Ill be checking with the warranty and, if not covered, be coming right back for the real fix thanks to the great service I received. Dakota also mentioned that I needed new tires (not an upsale, I definitely do need new ones soon) and gave me some prices but absolutely no pressure to buy today. Great shop and Ill be coming back in the future.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were down with a flat due to a hole and the staff immediately helped us no problem. Shoutout to the staff Brandon and Aurora for being an amazing help in a tight pinch. Highly recommend this place to anyone in need of help with brakes or tires.

Aurora the store manager is quite possibly the nicest person out there. We were in a stressful situation from a tire issue and she got us in on a Friday afternoon. Helped me get new tires and even helped me find a good deal. Max worked on our car as well and we are happy with all they did to help us. Overall I will highly recommend this place. A friend told me about Mavis before, never tried them but now I'm a big fan. Thanks for all your team does!
