Mavis Tires and Brakes in Buford (Friendship Rd), GA

Dropped vehicle off and they tried to say my breaks needed to be replaced. Lie. They 100% do not. We told them the driver side rear tire had the nail, they decided to check the passenger rear tire instead. They called to inform us nothing was in the tire and we reiterated that it was in the driver side rear tire and they didn't recheck. So they charged me nothing since there was nothing in the tire they decided to check. So, I went to get my vehicle. We had told them to place the keys in the car and lock it (my vehicle allows keys to be locked in the vehicle) but when i showed up my doors were completely unlocked and keys inside. Meaning, anyone could have walked up and taken my vehicle or anything inside. We double checked the tire and sure enough the nail was still there plane as day. So we left it over night after I made sure to lock the doors. We called this morning just to have them say they couldn't fix it. I'm currently in GA visiting/on vacation and I am from PA with an 8 month old child, 3 dogs, and my wife. If I would have taken this businesses word, driven back 12 hours back to PA, and not double checked, I could have blown a tire and wrecked. Could have just ended up with a flat but either way, this company is incompetent. They asked if I wanted to get new tires from them and I told them no for obvious reasons. Going to go get a second opinion before buying new tires as my wife's brother is a mechanic, and said it 100% could be fixed. Will be taking my business elsewhere and will be filing complaints with BBB, FTC, and Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Avoid this place at all cost as they are incompetent.

The Braselton Mavis Tire staff was SO helpful! Late in the day, I noticed a nail in one of my car tires, called and spoke with Dustin at Mavis Tire, and the staff graciously took care of my tire even though there was barely enough time before closing. Ive bought tires before at this location, and the staff has always been friendly, professional, and competent. They saved the day!

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon at 4:15 and they found our leak fixed it and we were out before they closed at 5. Pretty awesome.
