Mavis Discount Tire in Commack, NY

Came in for a car inspection and oil change about an hour before closing. Expected to wait a while but I didnt and the guy who attended me at the front desk was super nice and helpful.

I have been to this Mavis a few times for the family cars - always reliable, great prices, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend!

I bought winter tires on December 2024. In March 2025, I stopped by to swap my tires for the summer.They said they don't do that because it's used, and only if I want to do it at Mavis, I gotta buy new tires every time I swap the tires for winter or summer. They told me to go to another tire shop or gas station for tire swap.They said its their policy. If I knew that, I would never buy these tires at Mavis.They only want to sell new tires and don't want to service it.Buying new tires at Mavis and getting the service another place. It's their way to do business.Within the next 3 years, I gotta buy 2 sets of tires, one set for winter and another for summer.Mavis will never get my business again.By the way, when I called Mavis a few days ago, a girl who answered told me to call them before I come in and quoted me $108 for the tire swap (including balance). She was at the counter last December when I bought winter tires, but she's not there this time.
