Mavis Tires and Brakes in Concord (Concord Mills Blvd), NC

i made an appointment for exchanging my break pads, and everything was great with the service i went for.the manager monica is nice at first, but she switched up completely by the end of my experience there and i likely wont be back based on my interactions with her. i came in and left my car, which i expected to do. i had no clue how long it would be as i wasnt given a time frame, but i figured i would leave and come back, things like that take time. my partner was with me and had work at 6. at the time i dropped my car off, it was 3:10ish. we hoped it would be done, because it seemed to be going pretty quickly. monica was quite flattering and kind, mentioning how we are cool, and we are just making good conversation, thanking her for everything. we both work in customer service as well, so we understand having good and bad interactions. we said we didnt want to do the service if they didnt have enough time to complete it today. so we very explicitly asked is it possible and she confidently (please let me emphasize CONFIDENTLY) said to give her until 5:30. we agreed. 5:45 rolls around and we are watching as my car still has all 4 tires off of it (even though i was only getting my back 2 pads and rotors changed out). my partner is getting antsy and tells their boss they will be late and orders an uber. monica doesnt speak to us about any updates until 6:20. offers to get an uber, which was nice, but we already did that and its already almost an hour after when she confidently said it would be ready. she was very clearly getting frustrated with other people, the ones coming in while they are trying to complete things already in place, i get it. i felt bad knowing they were understaffed and was trying to be understanding. she then tells me that the parts they need actually werent in stock and had to be brought over from another shop. 20 minutes tops. another 30 minutes passes and i am the last person (even though 2 people that came after me left before me). she hands me the WRONG keys.. they are my partners keys that say KIA.. i have a FORD. and i said these are not the keys to my car. she responds, clearly frustrated, that well the car started and got brought around so theyre in the car. she couldnt even hand me the correct keys. then couldnt find it in herself to say sorry.. monica is nice to start, and im sure she has good days and bad days, like all humans do.. but i hope she understands that she was being rude to people who are actually kind and understanding.. i just feel sorry for her. especially if their system is as inconvenient as it seems.

Soon as I came in I was greeted by everyone. I was very pleased with how clean the environment was and how nice the employees were. I will always come back here for any tire or alignment work

This was my first time using Mavis tire and brakes. Went there to get my brakes done. Good experience overall. Monica the front desk tech who helped me was extremely thorough, friendly, pleasant, and professional. I wish there were more people in the customer service industry like her. Ill be back to continue the suggested services. I would recommend this location.
