I changed the front end suspension parts on my 05 Trailblazer and took it in for a front end alignment. I paid $175 instead of $120 because I had new parts installed and it would be more labor intensive. I got a call stating that "my inner tie rod was bent and I only changed the outers, but not the inners". I told them that I had changed the inners also, and they were not bent. He said maybe he can take a quick photo and send it to me and hung up. A couple hours later he calls and says "the car is ready, and it might have just been a scratch or something that made it look bent." When I got my receipt there was no computer readout of the work, like usually is. I asked for it and was told "that's usually just for us but I have it here if you want to see it" and flashes the corner of it to me saying "it's in spec". I know it was because it was driving straight when I drove it in. I paid for a professional alignment to adjust the lower control arm brackets and the tie rods, normal procedure. On the ride home I notice a nut on the passenger floorboard. Upon inspection at home I notice the nuts for the upper control arms are missing, both sides. The nut I found in the car was one of them. I did not open the doors when I changed the parts. I leveled the car out after changing parts then tightened the bolts to spec. They were definitely there. I also found the boot that covers the inner tie rod was still fastened with the ties I used. It was impossible to "inspect" without removing it and if they did they would have seen the new ones. I was completely lied to in an attempt to sell me an inner tie rod job. I called and asked about the missing nuts and was told a story about a car he saw that the bolt backed out and caused needed repairs. I told him my complete method of installation and assured him, they were definitely there. He says they can't figure it out and "the tech didn't do anything with the control arms" and says the manager will call me. I called customer service, they knew about the missing nuts and said they want to "look at the cameras". I told them about the inner tie rod lie and about the tech saying "didn't touch upper or lower control arms, only tie rods" even though it is required for alignment, of which I paid the increased price to reflect that work. They put me on hold then forward me to the store. He mentions that it is under warranty and they should be able to fix it up. I obviously declined having any work done there and asked for a refund. I got the refund after waiting a few minutes at the desk with my card in hand, but I never got an explanation for the missing nuts, or the inner tie rod lie. - A quick Google search shows many reports of the same thing, control arms intentionally missing nuts causing noise and shaking thus more shop visits and charges for parts and labor, then they just put the nuts back on. Just like they tried to do to me. This place is a disgrace and disservice to humanity. Fatal Incompetence fueled by greed.

Came in for a tire repair because of a leaky tire, waited 2 hours for my car to be finished with a flat repair, left with the same problem.Took it to a different tire shop for a second opinion and they said wherever I just got my tire patched and repaired from didnt do it correctly and that I should bring it back there for accountability.Came back here 10 days later but only resolution was a call from Brian 2 hours later trying to sell me a new tire.

I have dealt here before Mavis bought them and continue to go there now because of Tom Nguyen. He has amazing customer service skills, and Ive seen him handle some difficult customers like a pro. He is always honest, which is a rare trait today, and as a woman who doesnt know much about cars, I feel confident in whatever he tells me needs to be done. He is a huge asset to Mavis. I have complete confidence in my car repairs thanks to Tom.
