Mavis Tires and Brakes in Shorewood, IL

Recently, I had all 4 tires replaced at Mavis in Shorewood - after price shopping online. I was very happy with the quality of service, expertise, and guidance I received. The employees are professional, friendly, and courtious. Not at all what I was expecting at this price point. I'm new to the area and had a trusted go-to shop where I used to live. I may have found my new go-to.

Excellent service, came in with a nail in the tire, they had me in and out the door within 25 minutes. Would highly recommend! Ryan also did an excellent job at doing the repair.

Very friendly team! Got me in quickly and addressed my concerns with my flat tire. Both Brandon and Kyle were very kind and make sure to acknowledge me when I came in. They communicated well and took care of my tire. Very appreciative of them thank you!!

This place is fast and great. All I needed was a patch on my dads right tire and they did it faster than any tire place I have ever been too.

Not sure how this place have such great reviews. I've encountered so many issues going to them. The place really just deserves 1 star. I'm giving 2 because they had the best price for the tires, and we haven't had any issues with the tires themselves.-My first issue was, they called at 720am to confirm my appt for the next day. As a foster mother of infants, sleep is so hard to come by. Should be a practice to call ppl during regular business hrs of 9 to 5.- After confirming at 720am the day before, get there at my appt time and my tires weren't even there. Was told to come back after 2pm or something like that, when they usually get their delivery and my tires should be there. Went back at the time they said, and nope, my tires still weren't there. Had to wait a week for my off day to bring the car back.- Take the car back, I needed brakes, rotors, and some other things. Which I already knew and had an appt somewhere else. They said they will price match (which on the receipts don't look like they did). So since I was there already I said ok.- Within a couple of months, my car had like a shutter. I thought maybe it was one of the rear wheels. Took it back there since they were the one who did the brakes and rotors to see if it was one of those and to have my warranty cover it. They told me it was due to a bad rotor and whatever part holds the rotor. Warranty covered the rotor but not the other part which cost almost $600. I said ok go ahead and fix it. Not to mention they didn't tell me how long it was going to take so after already waiting for over 3 hrs they finally tell me it will be another 2 to 3 hrs. Like why would you not mention that when you know I was waiting here for the car.-Thee very next day while driving to work, guess what, the car shutters again. That $600 job did not fix the issue. Was told to bring the car back.- I made an appt for my next off day. Forgot I had a doc appt the day of that appt, so I called to see if I could just bring the car in the day before or after I leave my doctors appt. Wanted to speak to the manager, believe his name is Kyle(?), the one who called me at 720am, he was on lunch. Left a message with the person who answered the phone and was told he would call me back after lunch. Well it's been over a month and I'm still waiting.- Ended up taking my car to GMC to get checked and found out it is my torque converter. Which costs and arm and leg , maybe a kidney too, to get fixed. But that $600 I paid to fix the rotor component that likely didn't even need to be fixed at that time, could of went towards the real issue with the car.

Mount and balanced tire and wheel. They were both courteous and professional We will definitely use them again.

Kyle and his team are so amazing and very professional and knowledgeable. I would honestly recommend everyone to come here for their tire, brakes and oil change needs.
