Mavis Tires and Brakes in Sumter, SC

My first visit here and the customer service was outstanding. I brought my 2016 Silverado 2500HD work truck in for a wiggle/shimmy while driving. They were able to diagnose the problem immeadiately. I had come in at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. The Manager Lane told me they could get right on it. They were able to order the part, get it in, replaced and even were able to complete a Tire Rotation and Front End Alignment before the end of business. The Technician Mario worked hard to make sure everything was working wonderfully . They were professional and courteous and kept me informed while the service was being performed. I highly recommend them and will be doing business with them again.

Yesterday I had a truly amazing experience at Mavis Tire in Orangeburg SC. The mechanic did a test drive and a check of my 2009 Chevy Express 1500 up on a lift. He found a worn Universal joint and showed me the problem. Since they dont do drive line work, the manager referred me to a transmission shop just down the street (an excellent shop where I made an appointment).Everyone at Mavis, including the mechanic and the manager, is friendly and professional, and they gave me the best service experience Ive had in years. Last year they did a first-rate alignment and tire balancing on my van. I will definitely be back.

Very nice staff and fast paced workers

We went here to switch out rims from my blown out tire to a used one. We went to Walmart first and was told we needed to buy a new tire and can't have a used one and they quoted us $60 for the transfer plus the new tire we would've got from them. It was only $30 to switch the rim to my used tire here! What I loved the most is during the wait, I noticed a children's play area and my son had an absolute blast while waiting. Very nice and well communicated people.
