Great work and fast service

After seeing the positive reviews for Mavis, I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, my experience didnt match up. I understand that every business has off days, and maybe thats what happened here.I bought new tires and needed Mavis to mount and balance them. Around 10 AM, I called to check pricing and availability. They told me theyd have an opening around lunchtime, so I dropped my car off at noon. They gave me an exact total, which I appreciated ahead of time, and said theyd call me when it was ready for pickup.By 4:15 PM, I still hadnt heard from them, so I called to check in. They told me my car was next in line and assured me it would be ready by closing at 5:00 PM. At 4:55 PMjust as I was about to pull into the shopthey called and asked me to come back the next day. I was understandably frustrated, especially since I had to work the next morning.The office staff explained, I dont know what happened. I left for 30 minutes to pick up a part from a distributor, and when I got back, it was chaos. But I had dropped my car off nearly five hours earlier, so that explanation didnt really add up. It became even more confusing when I went into the bay area to grab my tires. There were no mechanics working and no cars on the lifts.The office guy kept repeating that I could come back any day that week and it would only take about 40 minutes. Then he let it slip, I dont know how your ticket got lost.I would have appreciated some honesty when I called at 4:15. If my ticket was misplaced, that would have been the time to tell menot to assure me the car would be ready, have me arrange a ride to the shop, and then call me at the last minute to say they are closing and the work hadnt even been started.It was a frustrating experience, but I understand that mistakes happen. Still, better communication would have made a big difference.EDIT: The morning after the incident, the store manager, Mr. Ricky, called me personally to apologize for the situation. He was very professional and offered to make it right by completing the job at no cost. This level of customer service speaks volumes and helps explain the shops high rating. I truly appreciate how Mr. Ricky handled the situation, and because of that, Ill happily give Mavis my business again.

Mavis is great, all staff is super helpful and nice. Ricky always takes care of me whenever I go here.

This place has some awesome people that work here and they do very good work I learned from experience if you want a good job on your vehicle come here ask for Ricky
