We needed some new truck tires for our f150. TJ was very helpful in suggesting the right tires for our truck. My husband and I were very pleased with the purchase and service received. Thanks again Mavis. Great job all around. Strongly recommend for all your tire needs.

I needed to get my brakes done in a pinch because of a road trip. My dad can no longer do our familys car repairs due to undergoing a quadruple bypass about a month ago. Since I was at work for the day, my dad gave them his phone number to contact if there were any questions etc. When we went to pick my car up, my dad did what dads do with their daughters and made sure all services inquired were done. When my dad realized that not everything was done and began questioning the mechanic/tech/secretary (hat with gauges and tattoos), he began to push back a bit. I totally understand that over the phone (generally speaking) things can be miscommunicated. However, this tech who was on the phone with my dad failed to use the proper verbiage and term which led to this understanding in the first place. Whether it was accidental or intentional I wont ever have the answer, but that tech will.Anyway, there were 2-3 mechanics out in the parking lot with my dad and I checking on the brake light issue that was the catalyst for the tension. They tried to blame my parking sensors??? Im not an expert on cars but I dont exactly think that my sensors would cause my brake lights to be weird it would either be electrical or the bulb itself. As my dad tried to communicate with the mechanics about the current issue and past repair history with my car, the staff had a very rude and condescending tone. I reallllyyy hate to pull the race card, but were they speaking down to my dad because were asian and has an accent? Did they realize that they were wrong and realize that they couldnt backpedal very easily? Were they threatened by the fact that my dad knows enough to catch them? Again, Ill never know the true intentions but they will. While one tech did kind of apologize, I really dont appreciate how we were treated, the lack of general people skills, and what sounds to be like intentional miscommunication. Should someone mention that they feel like someone is coming off as condescending, well what is condescending as an immediate response instead of an apology is an inappropriate response. We had such high hopes as the community has given it such high ratings. For $1.059, I couldve gotten much better transparency and customer service elsewhere.Should someone in upper management or coorperate see this review, I am more than happy to share contact information for my dad and I to discuss this further. To the community, Im envious that you had a much better experience that I did. Im so disappointed that people would speak down and choose to be argumentative with my dad instead of communicating professionally and collaboratively to fix this simple issue. To the mechanics who were on duty, I really do hope you guys learn how to communicate better.

We had a very good experience at Mavis. We found a very flat tire when we left a restaurant after lunch. Luckily, we were able to air the tire and make it to there. After looking up our account they checked everything- brakes, etc - and plugged the hole in our tire. We told them we knew we needed windshield wipers, so they found what we needed and installed them. Total price? $30. We are going to go back to have our rear brakes done. They gave us a good price and no hard sell (which I dislike). I highly recommend this business!
