I have been utilizing Mavis of Newburgh on route 300 for quite some time now and the experience is always top notch. From the moment I walk in, the staff is always quite friendly and professional. They take time to explain to he issues with my car in laymans term without me feeling like Im being upsold in unnecessary repairs. The work is always speedy service and done with transparency throughout the entire process. The pricing is always fair and car tends to run like new. I definitely trust them with my vehicle and will continue to return for repairs. I highly recommend this place to anyone for reliable and honest auto service.

Total scam for NYS inspection as others have alluded to, just an easy money making scheme when dealers pass cars and these space cadets dont beware .. also rude staff , not holding true to appt times and half of the techs are on their phone and smoking while working

Maybe take away your option to book online if its not accurate. I booked (and received confirmation of) an appointment online just to get a call 40 minutes later that there were no available appointments (mind you there was LOTS of availability shown on the website.) This is not my first time having any issue with this location, lesson learned.

I couldn't NOT give this Mavis location 5 stars! My reason for needing to stop here today was really just the icing on the cake of a rather overwhelming day! I came in for what I thought was a simple flat fix. The wait was initially 2 hours. By the time I made the decision to let them do the work, more people had shown up and the wait became 2 and a half hours. They allowed me to wait in my car, which helped me relax, and get some things done. What was even better is that the wait was less than expected! The only downside was that the tire was blown and could not be repaired, and they did not have the proper replacement time on hand. They were, however, kind enough to put the spare on for me as a much needed courtesy!!! All the while being super kind and informative!! Josie at the front desk, Mike, the technician who worked on my car, and the young man with the cute, curly hair who's name I didn't get, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!! My experience here was definitely worth even needing to make the trip.

I'm done coming here. I came in for an inspection which was failed due to wipers and as they stated "play in the inner tie rod". The wipers I did agree were bad but I believe they were trying to sell me a service which was not needed to pass the state inspection. I took the car immediately after to my mechanic and they found no issues with my suspension. Be careful here they will try to sell you services that may not be needed probably to meet a quota.
