Mavis Tires and Brakes in Greensboro (W Gate), NC

I will never go back to any Mavis Tire again. November 2024 they performed an oil change incorrectly by forgetting to tighten oil housing correctly causing an oil leak, camshaft error codes, and check engine light. No oil was in my vehicle 2 weeks after the oil change and Im lucky the motor didnt lock up. They did cover cost for oil change and pay for a diagnostic check. They also left a mess of oil along the bottom of vehicle because they were too lazy to remove skid plate to change oil.Ever since Ive had nothing but problems from my vehicle. Ive been to Toyota dealership twice and spent over $700 without any fix. Im now looking at permanent damage to the motor. Stay away

Had an overall positive experience with them. The shop is very clean and the facilities are modern. There are work stations and a childrens space. The store manager worked with me to meet my needs and we had good professional communication.The ASM wasnt super helpful. He kept telling me it would only take 15 minutes to assess my car for an estimate. It took an hour before they took my car in. It would be helpful if he was more honest and straightforward about the timeline. When I asked him if I could go grab something to it or if the estimate was almost ready, he lied again. I got a call when I arrived to the restaurant which was what I was trying to avoid.Overall it took about 4.5 hrs to change my front pads and rotors for about $500 and I was able to grab some lunch and shop nearby while I waited. Even though it felt like they initially kept me waiting, I was able to get this done the same day within 5 hours.

Jessie was really helpful gave me a good price on my tires and gave me insight on what tires my car needed.

I saw this place driving one-day so I went to check it out an Jesse was super nice and helpful. I will definitely come here for now on. He was honest an got me back on the rd safe an sound. Follow up review after about a month my back tire went out again an he fixed it for me np. He will get my business only. The tires he sells r great an he honors warranty with np.

I set an appointment for 1pm today for an oil change & they got started on my car right away! Jessie assisted me throughout this process and didn't push any sales on me but he did inform me of other matters that needed to be taken care of with my vehicle. One in which was my battery leaking which could be super detrimental to my vehicle if it continued to go unnoticed. I'm thankful of being informed & I will continue to be a repeat customer of this location. This is my 4th visit & it has been pleasurable every time.
