Today, I visited Mavis in Hillside, NJ for a scheduled oil change. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the manager, Jalil, whose demeanor was courteous and professional. After providing my information and presenting a coupon for the oil change, the service on my vehicle promptly began.While my car was on the lift, Jalil pointed out that my two front tires were significantly worn. Although I initially considered replacing all four, Jalil advised that only the front two required replacementdemonstrating honesty and integrity over making a higher sale. I appreciated his transparency and agreed to proceed with replacing just the front tires. He also took the time to show me the exact tires I would be purchasing.I then mentioned a concern about a noise I had been hearing when the air or heat was on. Jalil called over his assistant, Calvin, so I could explain the issue in detail. Calvin listened attentively and assured me with a smile that he would take a closer look. After inspecting the vehicle, he confirmed that he heard the noise and believed it to be an issue with the blower motorsomething that would need to be addressed at the dealership. In the meantime, he also pointed out that both my cabin and engine filters were extremely dirty and recommended replacing them. I agreed to the service.As a woman, it can sometimes feel intimidating to navigate automotive services, but Jalil and Calvin ensured I felt respected, informed, and confident in the care I received. Their professionalism, honesty, and customer-first approach were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Mavis Hillside, NJ for anyone in need of trustworthy and reliable automotive service.

The manager Jalill provided excellent service and was very friendly with a great sense of humor. He was able to find the issue with my tire. The staff was able to patch my tire and order a new one. I dont like Mavis franchise but Jalill service made it a pleasurable experience for me to trust him and the staff with my car

One thing that stood out the most was how accommodating they werewhen I realized I might be waiting a while, they kindly offered a ride so I could head to my school library to study instead of staying in the lobby.
