Mavis Tires and Brakes in Sulphur, LA

Staff is very friendly, but the skills of technicians are not good for a little difficult maintenance, such as the alignment. They did an alignment for me few months ago, and two rear 1-year tires were completely worn out. It caused an accident, and then I spent more money in other store for the wrong alignment they did. Don't trust the technicians any more in the store.

Its been three years & im here for an update on my experience & I miss you guys I havent been to you guys in a min lol but its the best service & costumer service I had! They make me feel comfortable every time & it never feel like they are getting over on me bc Im a female alone! I highly recommend them!

Mavis is the worst place to get service for your vehicle. As someone who has worked in tires and mechanic work for almost 10 years I feel especially qualified to say this. If you wonder why it takes an hour to get a flat repaired, it's because the company (which is over run by greed and pettiness) demands that your tech looks over every inch of your vehicle to find something to upsell to the customer. Even if you don't really need it they will try to sell it to you. I watched this place go through 7 people in 3 months because they sit around watching the cameras in the shop looking for any petty reason to fire their employees. They constantly increase the work load and dump trivial, useless rules onto their employees making it impossible to get in a decent routine. They will fire anybody for any petty reason without a warning or remorse. The district manager is an empty shell of a human being that only sees numbers and fails to realize you can't force people to come in and buy things. They threatened to fire the entire shop if they didn't reach the numbers they wanted within 10 weeks. Which in reality is no reflection of the people in the shop at all. That's like telling a particular Walmart they need to sell more groceries or everybody in the store is fired. It's insanity. It's a completely toxic work environment and the toxicity comes from the district manager and the one above him. That is why the shop continually puts out sub par work. You never see the same people there for more than a few months. No one stays long enough to get enough training to do the job properly. That's why they messed up someone's engine a few months ago and ruined some rims on a brand new truck. The guy that ruined the engine didn't even get fired for that. He got fired for politically incorrect speech. That should tell you where the priorities of this company are. You can get fired for something petty like saying the wrong thing, but not for doing the job itself improperly. My wife went up there for 2 tires and an oil change and they left one of the tires loose and didn't tighten the oil filter. If you want quality work go to a place where you see the same faces for a while. Mavis is the most money hungry, underhanded, and petty company I've ever personally had the displeasure to witness. If you just want quality work on what you asked for without someone trying to sell you something that you don't need, then Mavis is not the place for you.

Had a screw in one of my tires. The store manager was very professional and they had my tire fixed in no time. Great customer service, friendly staff, and they will get you taken care of in a timely manner!!

Went in for a tire and brake job. The manager harlee and her staff where more than helpful and professional. I absolutely love this place. Good job Mavis.

Absolutely love this store. They did a jam up job . They replaced my brakes,tires,oil and did a front end alignment and did it in record time.very friendly and professional. The manager Harlee was absolutely great and gave me an awesome deal and really helped me decide on the best tires for my truck. Great job Mavis see y'all next time.
