I visited this location on Friday, March 22, 2025, at 9:01 AM because I needed brake pads for my Chevy Colorado work truck. The customer service representative, a young lady, was excellent. However, an hour into my visit, I was informed that I needed rotors as well. I told the service technician that I could not afford that at the moment and only required the brake pads to be changed.Four hours later, I was notified that my truck was ready. I then drove down the street for a test run, but my truck began to make a knocking noise coming from the front driver-side brake caliper. I immediately knew what the issue was: the service technician who worked on my truck hadn't secured the brake caliper screws properly. This is a dangerous oversight that could have led to a serious accident.Upon inspecting the brakes, I confirmed that was indeed the problem. Due to this experience, I refuse to return to Mavis because of the fear that such negligence could result in a serious accident. Honestly, this is unacceptable. While I believe the staff is generally great, the work done on my truck reflects poorly on the entire establishment. If I could, I would give negative five stars, as this mistake could have cost me my life.As a new customer, I am disappointed, hurt, and angry. I urge others to proceed with caution regarding the work being done at this location.Again ,they are a great staff of professionals but this oversight that could've cost me or someone else their life is unacceptable even by the best.

The work they done was fair but when I got the bill it was $160.00 dollars more than what I was thinking it would be. When I asked about these extra charges that wasnt told to me. I was told sorry I should have explained it better. So make sure that you ask for a final price before getting anything done. My fault but it wont ever happen again.
