Mavis Tires and Brakes in Johnston (1500 Hartford Ave), RI

Greg and Dennis provided outstanding customer service. I stopped in to get a price on tires. Within 2 hours, tires were balanced and mounted and I was out the door and very happy with the product and service I received. I highly recommend them.

We went in for a complete tire replacement with tire alignment on our 2022 Subaru. Initially the experience went smooth and we were able to be seen same day of request. But since picking up the car we noticed all 4 rims of the car were scratch as you can see by the pictures. And all in a circular motion near the bolts and where you would pop in the new tires on the outer rim. When we brought it up to staff they were helpful in taking pictures of the damage and reporting it to the Regional Manager saying they have never had the machine scratch the rims before. They told me the Regional Manager by the name of Gino would be reaching out to correct the damages. Its been about a week and half and I have not heard from the regional manager even with multiple calls to the shop to check in. Horrible customer service from the regional manager Gino as he is not even checked in once to let me know or updated me on how the process is coming along . A quick check in on how or when my Rims will be fixed would have been greatly appreciated but unfortunately that has not happened. Its just heart breaking we take pride in our vehicle and now we have to drive around with jacked up rims because of this place.

After 2 days driven the car I could say the tires, alignment,tire rotation was worth it. First come first serve convenience.

Changed from 5 stars to 1I went and paid them 1,000 for an alignment, stabilizer links, struts and shocks. Okay cool.When they were finished the car was driving smooth but has been making a noise. So my boyfriend took it to them the next time and asked for them to check the brakes. They did and said I needed new brakes, shocks and struts for the back now. About 1,100. I just didn't trust them because my brakes were fixed 6 months ago as well as the back struts and shocks.I didn't mention that my father is a mechanic and Brakemans Auto in Boston Massachusetts. It's an hour and 10 minute drive for me so I haven't been going as often as I should but good thing I did today.There was absolutely no problems with my brakes or back struts and shocks. They car drives smooth, it's just noise from the exhaust which isn't much to worry about right now.I will not go back here as they tried to scam me into paying another thousand dollars! It's awful that some shops try to do that!New edit: the problem was a bad wheel bearing by the way. Thank God I trusted my instincts. They lost 2 customers.
