Mavis Discount Tire in Centereach, NY

I had such a pleasant experience here! I had originally called and spoke to Devin about having my safety lug nuts removed without the safety key due to it being damaged. He told me to come in and he would help me out! This was the third and only place that said they could do it. Everywhere else I called told me the lug nuts would have to be cut off therefore damaging my rim and potentially my tire. When I got there Mike behind the desk was helping me and answering all my questions. He was very nice and very helpful. They got my car right in and got all five lug nuts off without all the damage that every other place was saying would happen. VERY happy with how everything turned out. This was my first time here and it will not be my last! Big thanks to everyone at Mavis in Centereach.

I went here on September 4th to have my brakes done and then they said I needed calipers and rotors and the whole nine yards. I spent just under $1,200. Then January 9th I went back because I had my oil changed. The mechanic that changed my oil said I need brake pads. I thought that sounded wrong since I just had them done 4 months prior and drove about 12,000 mi. So I brought the car to Mavis on 1/9 I did need brakes again. They blamed it on New York driving. And that I must be breaking really hard so it was my fault the brakes went in 12,000 mi.Today I had my oil changed. I need brakes again. I called up Mavis to find out what my mileage was since I just had my brakes done 6 weeks ago. I have now driven 5,400 miles since they replaced my brakes. Brake pads should last anywhere between 20,000 to 70,000 mi give or take. Driving 12,000 mi or 5400 mi and needing new brakes is unacceptable in my opinion.I obviously will not be going back there ever again. Today the guy said it was possible I got faulty brake pads. At least that gentleman didn't blame it on my driving.

I was at this location yesterday around 4pm to repair a flat that I had on my work vehicle. Ivan was extremely helpful in setting up and getting my invoice approved. Even though he was new he was patient enough to help me complete the process and have my vehicle ready! I appreciate his help and please give him a raise. He is an asset to your company

The guy at the front desk. I believe his name was Ivan was very friendly. They recommended to get stuff done but didn't hound you about it. Would recommend if you need work done on your car.

I've been going to this shop for about a year steady now. I plan on keeping my business with them. I'm so glad I left Firestone in Selden NY. This team is professional and they care about their customers..

My car's brakes locked today and had to be towed. I directed the tow to this Mavis. They found my problem immediately, along with several other, potentially life threatening issues with my car. They walked me through and showed me each problem and explained the dangers very honestly. They ordered the part, got it in immediately, and got me back on the road on the same day! They were polite, hard working, and very kind. I greatly appreciate all of thier help to get me back on the road safely. I highly recommend this Mavis. They all did thier best and genuinely cared about assisting me. Thank you so much to everyone involved in today's visit. I hope to see you all again, hopefully for routine tire changes and nothing as dire as today's issue. Thanks again!
