Mavis Tires and Brakes in Plaistow, NH

Avoid this place at all costs!!! Came here for new tires. The employees were disrespectful and the lobby reeked of marijuana. One of the employees dropped a large piece of marijuana in my daughters car.

Terrible experience when it came to balancing. not in just one vehicles which they aligned and balanced with a bad bearing. But also in a new purchase of tires and when I called to explain Eric that the car was pulling to one side and jumping and he said that even like that it wouldnt create any issue or damage any parts of the vehicle. I then asked him if this happened if any damages would be covered by any deficiencies that happen during my service in which he stated no. I asked him if he could at least give me a evaluation in order for my vehicle to be safe in the roads and prevent any accidents from happening due to the factor that my fianc is also pregnant and its really important for me for her to travel in a safe vehicle.I scheduled an appointment on 04-7-2025 they called me from store and rescheduled me for 04-08-2025. After they confirmed my second appointment I arrived to the store and they said that they couldnt do the scheduled service due to staff. As a 13 year old veteran I think a courtesy call or an email would be very helpful. Specially when they called and a confirm a service a day prior. Is a lack of professionalism and its also disrespectful to peoples scheduled. I really dont recommend this place this is very unethical. To finish on a better note they had online openings at 0500pm for service after they canceled me.

Mavis tires and brakes were amazing. Very educational on what was going on with truck and the patch they were doing. The manager Megan and assistant manager nate were amazing with ny 2 year old son. Played with him like they would thier own. Amazing experience and will definitely be back if need to and will definitely recommend them to everyone!!!

Quick service, great selection, and great communication is what brought me in for tires on my fleet vehicles. The fix of what another shop failed to fix and missed, as well as the clear options given by the service team ,will for sure keep me coming back. Rich was awesome, willing to go the extra mile. The techs were honest and thorough, which can be tough to find these days. Definitely reccomend this location!
