Mavis Tires and Brakes in Lakeland (4516 Florida Ave), FL

Not the best front desk experience, nor did having an appointment mean anything. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait onsite for services to be completed. My appointment was for noon, arrived 15.mins early and the location was packed, but my vehicle wasn't taken back until around 3pm, which wasn't a big deal for me as again I wasn't waiting onsite and didn't need the vehicle right away. Vehicle was ready by 4:30, but it also had to be sent back to correct a mistake, which they promptly resolved and provided a small discount for the trouble without asking, which was appreciated. I'm not sure that I will return for future services, but I'm also not sure if it was just an off day for the staff, which happens and it was a Sunday. I'm sure the job is not easy and they all work hard. I'll update this review if I ever return for services

Best decision I made was walking into Mavis to get my tire plugged. Sam was at the front when I walked in, and he was professional and genuinely helpful to what I needed. The rest of the staff were proficient and respectful. They got me in and out. Just a great and calm environment overall. And they have a free air pump!! Definitely recommend!

Sam was great and straight up. The service was quick and courteous and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thank you Mavis for repairing my tires.

My husband and I were traveling back from Orlando late yesterday and we still had almost 3 hours to go when our tire went flat on the highway. We were able to get the old spare on the car - but could never finish our drive on it. I happened to try Mavis Tire phone number (after closing hours) and to my great luck an incredible man answered the phone named Sam. He was sympathetic to our problem and said to come there despite a 20 minute drive to get to him. He and John stayed WAY WAY past quitting time and resolved our situation with care, compassion and professionalism. Truly it was a miracle - like we found angels! I cant say enough about them. I have a lot of health issues and had no extra medication to spend the night there - so we are beyond grateful..Sam and John are fine gentlemen and just good people. We will be going to Mavis Tire forever due to their remarkable assistance, expertise and kindness. Mavis Tire is extremely fortunate to have them!
