Mavis to the RescueI was have breakfast at Perkins in Matamoras. Upon returning to my car I discovered I had a flat tire. As a senior who is handicapped I had to call my Road service provider to get the tire changed. After waiting over 1 1/2 hours with no service in site I decided to call Mavis on Strand Street. I spoke to Vivian and asked if they had someone who could come to the restaurant with some air, inflate my tire and I would drive to the location, about 2 miles away and get the tire fixed. Vivian said they didnt have portable air but would send a tech over. In about 15 minutes a tech named Thomas showed up with a jack and impact wrench and proceeded to dismount the tire. He took the tire back to the shop fixed it and promptly returned to mount the repaired tire. Wow, Thomas was cordial and not only repaired the tire, in addition reorganized the area my tire tools were stored. I then proceeded to go to the store to pay for the service. Not knowing what I could be charged, I approached Vivien behind the counter and asked how much I owed. To my surprise Vivien said it would be no charge. I was pleasantly surprised and thanked her and Thomas for such a consideration.. I cant thank the entire staff of Mavis Tire ,115 Stand Street , Matamoras PA. For taking a very stressful afternoon and making my day.. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You so much.

Do not go here! had bake brakes and rotors put on that I had purchased and they charged me $328.50 just to put them on! I called several other companies and they told me that it was totally unacceptable I called the Manager and he tells me that yes it wasnt right but he cant do anything about it because thats what Corporate tells him to do! Unacceptable total rip off!

First and foremost, I would like to shout out Randy, Tyler, Dina, and Thomas. These four employees made my second trip for service, a pleasant one. After receiving such stellar service on my Audi, I returned with my Mercedes-Benz for an oil change. Shortly after dropping my vehicle off, I received a call stating that my tires had significant wear and that they were wearing unevenly due to an alignment issue. I actually was aware of the tires and asked them if they could give me a good price on some good reliable tires the job was theirs. They got my vehicle done in a timely fashion. They never once pressured me too buy any additional services only recommending what my vehicle needed per mileage. I did opt as well to have them replace and install a cabin air filter to get that smell out of my vents when the heat is turned on. All in all I received a 10 out of 10 in terms of customer service. Fantastic job, Team!
