Mavis Tires and Brakes in Matteson, IL

Leaving this review for Mavis Tires and Brakes in Matteson. I was very pleased with the customer service I received from the Manager Tammie and her lead mechanic David. They turned what was initially a stressful situation into something positive. Unbeknownst to me I'd spoken with someone at the call center instead of the store who quoted me a price that I thought would be my total. Once I arrived at the store, I was told the representative did not give me the full price as it did not include taxes and disposal fees. I'd asked on the phone several times what my total would be so to come in a get quoted a price that was nearly $200 dollars over that amount was upsetting. I asked to speak with the manager, after much discussion, Tammie agreed to give me the price I believed I was paying upon scheduling the appointment. I glad they chose to rectify the situation and not lose my business. My suggestion is to speak with someone at the store rather than the call center so that you can receive a more accurate price for your tires. Haven't tried out the new tires yet, I'll update the review once I do.

The management and mechanics were totally gracious.The service I went for turned out to be way more than my budget. They worked with me to get it to a reasonable afordable price for me. I totally appreciate them.They have free air also at this site.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Got my brakes done here and just want to thank Tammy and the management team for their attention to detail. The service was great, and they made sure everything was done right. Ill be back soon for tires!

Was travelling from Massachusetts to Denver this weekend. Some slob managed to leave a pretty large bit of scrap metal on I80 that I was unable to avoid and ended up running over. Was hoping for the best but my tyre pressure light went off on the dashboard. Was able to pull off the highway. Very worried about getting back on the road on the weekend, I gave Mavis a call.After switching to the donut I was able to limp to the shop. The team at Mavis luckily had a compatible replacement tyre and were able to get me back on the road in around an hour. Additionally, they provided a complimentary inspection of my car to ensure no other damage was sustained so I could get back on the road worry free.I dont usually leave reviews but I was very impressed with what this shop could do on a weekend. Thank you!

Service was very efficient, the attendants were friendly and the repair was completed in a timely fashion..
