Mavis Discount Tire in Middletown (Rt 211), NY

Definitely one of the most positive and helpful experiences I've ever had at Mavis. It was first time going to Mavis at 211 due to hitting a ridiculous pothole on Rt-17 going West and destroying both my left tires, and badly needing a third due to wear and tear. Luckily, I was able to make it to this location, as the incident wasn't far from the exit to get there. Received a great discount for a new set of tires and a lot of helpful advice, as well, thanks to Eli. Thanks again.

Update: the day after service I realized these guys forgot to put my donut/spare back in my car, as well as the valve covers. I called and spoke with someone who pretty nonchalantly said I could come get my donut. I called again the next day and spoke with Rob to get some reassurance that they still had it, and let him know I live a couple hours away so this was an inconvenience. Rob then said he had seen my donut in the shop, and apologized for the cavalier attitude of the person I spoke to before as well as the mistake of not putting it back in my car. I told Rob I'd be back to get my donut on the 30th or 31st, and he told me he would be in on the 31st. I arrived this morning (the 31st), spoke with Rob who went into the shop to retrieve my donut. After a few minutes of some visible head scratching, someone else came out and told me my donut was tucked away and that they couldn't get to it. I told them I was on my way to the airport and could not wait any further. People make mistakes, but these guys squandered a good experience and 5 star review. I'll be back in another week, and will update my review again with the outcome of all of this....*****Original 5 star Review: These guys were fantastic. If I could leave a 0 rating, I would!!Why schedule an inspection if you make the person wait over an hour? Then why would you tell a customer they need over $ 2,000 of work when you did not even do the whole inspection? Why not give a receipt with itemized line items for the cost of the part and labor? Why show a "crack" in the rear spring but not put that part down for replacement on your estimate?By the way, the car passed inspection with absolutely ZERO issues or problems you stated it had.DO BETTER.

Best place to get your car serviced. Anthony explained my cars issue and helped me get my car back on the road in a timely manner. He wasnt pushy or trying to just make a sale - I really felt as though my car was being taken care of by an honest mechanic!

My husband scheduled for 9 o'clock inspection today and was there for 2 hours.Inspection technician shouldn't be on their phone and vaping when they have a customer waiting!
