Editing my original review to reflect my experience.I came in for new brakes and shocks, expecting a routine service, but ended up dealing with days of back-and-forth and potential damage to my car. Friday, I dropped my car off at noon and didnt receive a call until 30 minutes before closing, so I picked up my car Saturday. Immediately, I noticed a rattling noise and called them. I brought it back, and after an hour, they claimed they couldnt find the issue and told me to return Sunday. I dropped it off at 9:45 AM, had to call twice for updates, and finally got a call at 3:45 PM. The rattling was fixed, but Will admitted that Dale hadnt screwed something on tightly enough. However, Dale was the one who checked it Saturday and told me he didnt know what the issue wascompletely frustrating. No apology was offered for the repeated trips and wasted time. However, the bigger issue arose after I picked up my car on Sunday. I had an airbag error, my steering wheel buttons stopped working, and my horn was deadissues that were not there before. I immediately called and was told to call back Monday. When I brought it in Monday, they suspected a broken clock spring and told me I needed to take it to VW.While I understand that clock springs can fail over time, it is highly suspect that this failure occurred immediately after NTB serviced my car. Furthermore, I have since learned that improper handling during suspension workincluding excessive steering wheel movementcan cause clock spring damage. Given the lack of care already demonstrated in the brake and shock installation, I have serious concerns about whether my vehicle was handled properly. As due diligence, I also called VW, who admitted this is a known issue with clock springs, so it could be a coincidence. However, given NTBs careless handling of my car, I am not giving them the benefit of the doubt I likely would have if my brakes werent such an issue.
Either crooks or too dumb to work on cars, not sure which. Heres what happened:Back right tire was flat with a leak and this place is the closest unfortunately. My cars sensor is off so I check the pressure by hand with a manual gauge I keep in my car- its flat at 7 psi. Bring it in and specifically tell the guy at the desk its my back right tire and he even goes out and looks at it to confirm its flat. They tell me itll be an hour, but three go by finally I get a call and the guy tells me my back right tire is fine (the one thats totally flat) and its actually my front right tire that has a leak. I tell him to look again because I know for a fact the back right is flat as a pancake and he has the audacity to tell me its just my cars sensor malfunctioning and not to worry about it.I tell him I checked the tire with an actual gauge and theres a long pause, then he tells me hell call me back. Sure enough, he calls back and is apologizing and says they didnt catch it because theres no air leaking from it. Duh. Thats because theres no air left to leak out. Not sure how they missed a tire with no air when checking my tires??? So with front and back both damaged (apparently they cant patch it- fine) they got me for four new tires and were gracious enough to take $50 off the because I bought all four! Quite the bargain. Thanks guys.Go to pick it up and now my battery is also dead because they left interior lights on in my car overnight.Incredible. I was actually impressed at how incompetent these people were. No pride in their work and careless to the point of endangering their customers with careless and faulty repairs. Either that or theyre completely fraudulent, hoping Ill believe their bs so they can bring me back in to pay them more when the problem they say they fixed still isnt fixed. Dont go here for any reason.
