Mavis Tires and Brakes in Palatine, IL

Did my alignment there - replaced tie rods inner and outer , dont know if it was really necessary or not, payed 900 for it and guys let me on road with steering wheel spinning only half way, i recognized it when i was on road - shop closed, next morning im bringing my car back to fix and they say wait a day, we are booked. Front desk guy has any skills to communicate and dont care at all for his 25$/hr, how such places even exist nowadays. Terrible!

Mavis in Palatine saved the day today and patched a tire quickly. I was so impressed with how quickly the service was a how helpful the staff was

Hands down the best location for your needs . The staff on site are some of the most down to earth, knowledgeable people Ive ever encountered . A special shout out to the boss Melissa and also Gregory for making everything quick and easy. They went above and beyond to ensure my problem was solved and even gave me further advise on other things they noticed wrong. This location has a great team and the best customer service. I definitely will be referring all my family and friends to this location. I thank you all kindly for your time and help !

The staff at this establishment were excellent. We received the most amazing customer service and also knowledge in what was going on with my car. Great service! Super professional. Had a flat on my work van. Took it in and they took care of it in under an hour. Solid price too. I definitely recommend this place

Got 2 sets of tires done however they WAY over torqued my lug nuts (my torque wrench read 150ft-lbs before the gears broke trying to read how tight they were and my impact rated for 400ft-lbs struggled to take them off but the nuts should only be 100ft-lbs) and they stacked 3 different sized wheel weights together on one side of a wheel which is not the correct way to balance them. Even though it took hours they got it done but I wouldn't recommend this shop.

My girlfriend and I went in to get tires installed on her truck. Chris and his team did an excellent job at getting the car in and having out in a reasonable time. They did a great job at servicing it and explaining any issues about the car. We were also able to get an alignment done without any trouble. I highly recommend this place. They go above and beyond for their customers.
