Mavis Discount Tire in Cortlandt Manor, NY

I had an outstanding experience at Mavis today. I want everyone to know that I have had the pleasure of doing business with Mavis in several different locations and while I know every place is different I have to tell you all this has been the best experience I have had since relocating back to NY. Prior to this I did business with a Mavis in SC for over 12 years.The mechanics working there from the customer service desk to the bays are courteous, friendly, attentive, respectful, and they do their jobs in a timely manner. That tells me that thier boss is a great teacher.I happened to be in the area doing other business and Google them. When I arrived the first gentleman acknowledged me and the second gentleman with the glasses asked what I needed done and I just wanted to know if they had any time to do an alignment. He said yes and I was in heaven. My car was taken care of in record time and they were definitely busy.When the car was ready the third gentleman who gave me everyone's name....lol...took care of me quickly with a great coversation and a smile. You guys are absolutely amazing. I encourage everyone to stop by the location I promise you will be completely satisfied. To Richie, Christian, Malik, and Cecil thank you I will be back soon.

Fast and quick service. Very nice and knowledgeable. Needed a repair and they recommended new tires was taken care of very professionally and quickly!

Unfortunately I had to come back and edit my 5 star review. The front desk still remains very friendly. However, we had a nail in my tire and I had to come back 4 times because my tire kept showing low tire pressure (around 24psi) after each visit. I did not drive anywhere but home and back which is 5 mins away . Regardless it shouldn't have shown low pressure after each visit if it was "fixed".First time they said they patched it, mind you I had an appointment at 8am and it was not done until 9:30am. I was the FIRST appointment and the FIRST person there. I'm not exactly sure how long a tire patch takes but they did have at least an hour and a half to get it done. Second time they said that it was the valve. Third time they just did not put the full amount of air in it. The fourth & final time they said it was the seal and after this visit, I asked the front desk if they were positive that they had 100% fixed it and that I wont have to come back. He confirmed and said sometimes it's because of the ice/snow and driving over potholes and said "I'm not sure where you went" but that can cause the seal to open. Again I live 5 mins away and pretty sure I didn't drive over any potholes on my short drive but okay, seals open that easily.Of course the next morning, I see that the low tire pressure is on again. I was very frustrated so I took the car to another tire service location. They removed the tire and said that Mavis NEVER EVEN patched the inside of the tire and they showed my husband. This is very frustrating to hear as I had gone back four times. If they didnt patch it the first time they had THREE other chances to patch it. We paid to get a tire fixed done and it was not done.I would NOT recommend this place. Go to a Mom & Pop shop where the people actually care about their customers.

i was just passing by to put some air in my tires. the staff was so attentive & kindly helped me, i didnt even have to lift a finger! 10/10, would HIGHLY recommend :)

Stop by to get service done on my vehicle the manager Cecil was very informative assisted me with all the information I needed , kept me updated and got my service done in a timely manner. Will definitely be returning again , great customer service

Last year when I brought my car here for an inspection they forgot to put the sticker on. I went back to tell them they didn't give me a sticker and they said they had to do another inspection in order to print the sticker. I had to go back the next day to get it reinspected. They were rude about the whole thing even though they admitted they made a mistake.I went to give them another chance this year due to convenience of online scheduling. Last Sunday I dropped my car off and called me 30 minutes later to tell me that the inspector called out sick and they couldn't do it. Fine, things happen. I asked them not to do my oil change since I wanted them both done together.Fast forward to today when I had rescheduled for an inspection/oil change. They confirmed via phone and email for both of these services. Also confirmed verbally when I dropped the car off. They called me two hours later to tell me the oil change was done. I asked about the inspection and was told they couldn't see one scheduled and they don't have an inspector today. I showed them the email and told them they confirmed it via phone and in person. They blamed it on the system and a new employee. They were polite but this did not make up for the disorganization. My car is still not inspected. I will not be returning to this location.

Made an appointment for NYS Inspection told it would take 4 hours. I asked what did I make an appointment for and they say it is to hold a spot. Asked if iI walked in with no appointment and was told it would be 4 hours so making an appointment is useless.
