Mavis Discount Tire in Denville, NJ

After waiting 40 minutes from my appointment time I was told the huge gash in the side of my tire wasnt enough of a reason to replace my tire under the warranty. Not only is this unacceptable but is also a safety issue sending me back out onto the road with an unsafe tire. The manage Jamal didnt seem to care at all and was very dismissive. He was respectful but not helpful in the least bit. I had to get these tires that I didnt even want in the first place because of a flat tire I experienced in an area far from my home. The quality of the tire is not good and I will never be going back to this location and will never buy another set of Mavis tires for my vehicles. I do not feel safe driving on Mavis tires.Update: this morning I received a call and Mavis had me come in at a time that was best for me. They apologized about the issue and fixed it immediately. Although I was displeased with the immediate and initial interaction they did follow up and do right by me and my car. I am thankful they corrected the issue. Jamal the manager personally called me to apologize and made sure everything went smoothly.

Caleb and team were amazing. I would highly recommend them. I showed up without an appointment for a leak in my tire. They fixed it at no charge and sent me on my way. Everyone was professional and friendly.

I've been going here for a couple of years. The guys behind the counter are great and honest. The work is performed quickly and done well. That's why I'm a repeat customer. I keep coming back here. This place is great. Nice guys too.

The people who work at this Mavis are great. A bunch of really nice guys, and I trust them. I have no problem recommending them at all to anyone.

Be careful if you do not know about prices or cars they will scam you! I came in to get my tire patched they told me I needed a new tire that its NOT fixable. I went and looked at my tire because I knew in fact my tire was fixable but they saw a female and thought they could get me. turns out they lied just because they wanted me to purchase a new tire. Also they had my hood up to see if I needed any oil changes etc they were going to get me with that too. when I just came for a patch up. I told them it is fixable so they Did in fact patch my tire. I get that everyone wants their commission but being honest gets you customers and business.
