Update: I went in on 2/17/25 for an inspection and they told me I needed $3,700 worth of work to pass inspection. This sounded like an awful lot for my car. So I told them I'll take the two tires and be on my way to get a second opinion. So glad I did. I took it to a dealer (which is usually more money, or so you'd think) and they said I needed only $700 worth of work to pass inspection. The only thing Mavis and the dealer agreed upon was the rear breaks. Mavis gave me a whole list which the dealer said wasn't needed... go figure. So if you have an extra 3k to waste then go to them. Otherwise you may want to get a second opinion.

Do NOT go here. I took my van in for inspection as a single mother, and they told me after TWO hours of waiting (even though I scheduled an appointment), that I needed to replace parts for $1600 and then sat in front of me while I panicked. I made a phone call to a family member who told me to get a second opinion, and guess what? The other shop said those parts are completely fine and that those repairs don't need to be done. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. I will never be bringing my business here again.

Took my Toyota 4 Runner for an State inspection and wheel alignment. I have not been there in several years and have to say I was really impressed with their quality of customer service, efficiency, and honest estimates. Manager is very up front and honest and I felt it was more than a fair price to all work completed. My first experience several years ago, when they first opened was also exceptional. Its true that a lots of these chain stores get a bad rap for "running up" the bill for repairs but, I don't see that at all with Mavis in Dickson City. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle back for any service and would go as far to recommend Mavis for service.
