Another edit 03/27/25:I visited NTB/Mavis again yesterday for a tire repair, rotation and balance after having work done at another automotive business that had found tire-related issues. I told them I had a contract with NTB and I would get this done there. Brought it in, supposedly the work was done but my car broke down on the way home and that original problem of shudder and vibration at 50 mph was still there which started after my original purchase of tires from NTB in November 2022! Christian Brothers sent a wrecker for my car yesterday and called me with the problem solution this morning. Aside from a loose alternator connection I was told my tires - all four - were severely out of balance. "Severely" is the word he used and told me that they were balanced to 0 now and will deliver my car to me this morning. Somehow a tire business manages to not balance my tires after one was repaired. How does this happen after coming in and saying I wanted what I signed on forfree rotation and balance for 5 years. At this point I'm upset I was charged for the tire repair!*************I had bought a rotation and balancing package when I first purchased tires at NTB in November 2022. I grew to regret that decision and I started avoiding work on my car because of repeated bad experiences when I did bring it in after some initial work I was told I needed the day I bought my tires. It was all downhill from that first tire purchase and that work they said I needed. My car developed lots of noises and a shimmy that weren't there before that work. I took it back and told them. They told me they had put on a defective part. I noticed they didn't even bother to say "by accident". WHAT? How did they manage to do that...did they just send me on my way with a hope and a prayer it wouldn't fail?! So, they replaced that part. (These visits always took much longer than they said they would...HOURS longer.) But, the noises and shimmy were still there when I drove home. At one point there was a wobble in my front end. Take it back? No. No confidence in them.Fast forward to August 2024 and NTB in Simpsonville. (No way I'm going to Woodruff Rd NTB.) I thought maybe if I take it in for a tire rotation and balance the source of these problems would be found. Couldn't hurt I thought. I didn't mention the issues. Pretty soon someone came to get me to show me the exact reason my front driver's side tire wobbled. One of the lug nuts wasn't tight!! Nobody has touched those tires since NTB on Woodruff Rd. Then I was shown another problem on the right side that I hope is the source of the other issues. I'm sitting in the waiting room waiting on my ride and I have confidence in these guys on Ray Talley in Simpsonville unlike the previous people who've worked on my car here and the Woodruff Rd site. There has been a marked improvement in attitude and customer service since new ownership. These guys are great. I have confidence my car will be returned in much better shape and I couldn't be happier.

Great Experience seen Stephen Ruhl at the local market when he informed me he was back at this location I set appointment immediately he is very knowledgeable and professional very glad to see he is back I stopped coming here because this location definitely needed some NEW MANAGEMENT hopefully he can assist in turning things around.

the simpsonville store was very kind and accommodating to my needs and double checked all their work much much better experience compared to former management highly recommend

I had two tires replaced on a Jeep. This may have been the first or second time I had been to this location. I bought these tires elsewhere because NTB's prices were about $50 more for each. I did set an appointment to have them installed here.When checking in, I specifically asked how long it would take. I was told about one hour. That seemed reasonable for two tires. I wasn't in a huge rush. The staff was friendly and professional.The tech replaced the correct ones (whew!) since my setup was a bit complicated (five tires on a Jeep). They got it done in about 1:45, quite a bit longer than I expected. Thankfully, there's an excellent Mexican restaurant within walking distance in case things are delayed.Overall, they did a good job for a fair price. Note to NTB: if you set an expectation for an hour, and the customer is waiting, consider communicating what is going on to set a new expectation.
