A nail in your tire can really ruin your Sunday afternoon but this Mavis shop was able to expeditiously remedy the situation! Courteous, efficient, and very reasonable prices!

Best service spot in Wake Forest if you want professional care and great vehicle care. I had a new set of tires and an oil change completed during my visit. They made sure the work was completed promptly and double checked other areas of the vehicle to ensure it will last for a long time.

My daughter visited Mavis Tire and Brakes for the first time on February 1, 2025, to have a nail removed from her tire and get it patched. After paying for the service, she had some trash in her vehicle and decided to dispose of it in a dumpster located in the parking lot. Unaware that this was not permitted, she proceeded to throw it away.Shortly after, a mechanic approached her and asked if she had thrown trash into the dumpster. She acknowledged that she had, and instead of informing her that it was not allowed, he immediately threatened to call the police. At no point before this did he mention any policy against using the dumpster. This unnecessary escalation led to a heated exchange, during which my daughter responded with a few choice wordsrightfully so, as he was the aggressor in the situation.As a paying customer, she should not have been treated in such a disrespectful manner, especially over something as trivial as throwing away trash. She even went as far as removing the trash from the dumpster to avoid any further conflict. We later spoke with the store manager and district manager, both of whom were kind and professional, but an apology alone does not make up for an employee threatening to call the police on a mother while her young child was in the car over something so minor.In a country where Black and Brown people already face disproportionate mistreatment, I would have never expected someone from the same community to act in such an aggressive manner toward my daughter. This experience was deeply disappointing, and because of it, we will never return to Mavis Tire and Brakes. Our business may not matter much to them, but this was an unacceptable experience that no customer should have to endure.
