Jack Williams Tire & Auto in Whitehall (2157 Macarthur Rd), PA

My explorer was in for an inspection.It was recommended i get my brake fluid and power steering fluid flushed along with a cabin air filter. Convenient enough, I literally flushed my brakes after replacing a front caliper in perpetration for this inspection. I also recently replaced the electronic steering rack (no power steering fluid). I also must note the cabin air filter was not checked because the last guy to replace it, me, broke the glove box and had to superglue it back together inadvertently creating a booby trap that must be gently superglued back together. The service advisor even showed me the mechanics notes stating the recommendations. Of course i declined service. This was an obvious money grab that made me feel disgusted. There are plenty of other garages that will do an honest inspection. I will never recommend or ever go back to Jack Williams after this experience.

Great service ! Amazing workers

Service is great but this is NOT the JW is used to be. Now part of the Mavis family. There are no wheels to buy in the showroom, just some wiper replacements and a couple of sets of tires. This was a go to place for those of us with nice wheels or needed lift kits etc and put on.Staff is still WONDERFUL and will be picking up tires.

State Inspection on a Diesel Pickup, no emissions necessary. Shop removed all 4 tires on the rack. Service manager showed me rust on the shocks asked me if i wanted to replace them for $700 plus tax. Also tried to suggest the tires were wearing poorly and that he could do a free alignment check, and if it needed it would only be $120 plus tax. Also suggested that the brake fluid needed to be exchanged, but didn't offer me a price on that. Said he would note these on the You can't blame them for trying to up sale you on a Pa State Inspection that was only $28 dollars. I thanked him for the inspection.
