Ecopia EP422 Plus - 235/45VR18

The tires are fine, but I would never buy them again from this company. Your call center promised one price and offered a rebate, but when I went in to get the tires installed, I was told a completely different price which was way higher than was promised on the phone. Also, there was no rebate available. I will never go to any Mavis again. I consider this bait and switch.

These were original model tires original sold with 2014 Toyota Prius Plug in vehicles. They are a bit pricier than other tires, but they give me peace-of-mind that they are going to give excellent traction under all weather conditions. They are sold primarily as a high gas mileage tire, but I found them to be a tire that's really great in snow but also quiet on normal road conditions. The only possible downside of these tires is tread life. They seem to wear down sooner than what they are rated for.

Lets see after the breakin period. Prior ser of tires I averaged about 60 Mpg so far its around 52.

The tires are great. What wasnt so great was the fact that Mavis took it upon themselves to inspect our vehicle when we didnt ask them to (since we just had it inspected in August) They put a sticker on our windshield that was deformed and unable to scan. What also wasnt so great was that we were told they couldnt do a tire alignment because of our vehicle type so we needed to take it somewhere else. What else wasnt so great was that we were told that you dont have a machine to diagnosis why our check engine light was on.. seems strange when an inspection was performed. This was frustrating to say the least. When my fianc went back to the store in the morning, the manager was very helpful and appalled that these things happened. He also stated that they do in fact diagnosis check engine lights.

So far the tires have been great!

Great tire - went up a size to fill out wheel wells and ad stability to driving experience. Note that one Mavis outlet did not want to put these larger tires on my car so tehy refused to help me. Booked this size on line and went to a differnet mavis location, no issues. Car drives much better on hte larger and wider tires. Does not rub anywhere at all

When I first drove with them, they were noisy and seemed unbalanced. It took about 1,000 miles for them to quiet down and smooth out. They are nowhere near as smooth or as quiet as the Duelers on my wife's Forester, but they are a huge improvement over the Bridgestone Turanza EL400 that were OEM on this car. Haven't driven in snow or ice yet, so I can't comment. But, I live in suburban Buffalo NY, I'll get the opportunity soon enough!
