Not only do they grip they stop very good in snow conditions. Love the tires make a guy very comfortable driving in the winter.
I've only had them a short time and we haven't experienced a lot of snow yet. In the conditions I have experienced they've been very good.
Have not driven in deep snow yet, so far, so good. Jeep seems to have a much smoother ride, tires are quiet Recently drove on some serious ice conditions, ride was slow, however tires got me where I needed to go. Would probably purchase again
went through two snow falls so far much better than the originals
This is a winter tire made for an SUV, not a winter tire for a car that was manufactured into an SUV size. There is a difference. I have owned winter tires for each SUV that I have driven. The Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow is a great SUV tire unless you need serious ice traction. As an H rated tire, it just does not have it, but did have long tread life and a quiet ride. The Michelin Latitude X-Ice was a quiet tire that lasted and wore very well. However, full depth sipes not withstanding, 11/32 of tread depth still does not cut through snow better than 14/32. This is the best example of why car winter tires should not be made in SUV sizes. The Dunlop I have had since October. Great hydroplaning resistance, very low noise, great ice traction, handles well, and, since it was built for an SUV as an SUV winter tire, has more total plies in the tread and sidewall as well as 14/32 of tread depth. Absolutely I would buy these again. A Land Rover Discovery II has very severe demands placed on its tires, and these came
