Altimax RT43 - 215/60HR16

I haven't driven it very much yet, but so far I'm pleased with the tires.

Was warned ride would be less smooth but price & reliability were overriding factors-would buy again if super sale price

I purchased theses tires because I already have them on a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country. They improved my fuel mileage on that vehicle. On my Ford the fuel mileage actually went down by 2 miles per gallon city and 4 miles per gallon Hwy. I've tried different air pressures with the same result. I am disappointed and if I still own the car when these wear out I'll go back to Continental tires. I've only has them on the car for a month and have drive a little over 3500 miles already. I am hoping that they perform in better in the snow. Time will tell.

These are high quality tires. I purchased 2 as they got damaged and they are the same as the others which were the original tires on this vehicle.

Excellent dependable tire at a good price. Quiet and smooth ride, great wet and dry traction.

Bought these tires to replace some very noisy directional Continental Tires. These tires are comparatively very low noise. ride comfort and smoothness is also improved. they have a slightly lower wear rating, but that is OK with me. Very happy with the initial results. I bought these because they had high marks from Consumer Reports for sedan tires.

No info. on light or deep snow traction, nor about ice traction.

South Carolina no ice or snow yet. I'm sure once this winter on trips to Ohio they will be very good. Not enough miles to judge treadwear but with the rating they have I'm sure they will be excellent. Musch better than the original Goodyears from the manufacture.

Excellent tires. Quiet and smooth drive. Bought another set for my Honda Accord. Would definitely recommend General Altimax.

I have had multiple sets of tires on my car over the nearly 17 years that I have had it, and these are the best by far in terms of ride and noise level.
