The tires are great. However, one of the tire pressure air filler nozzles stops sending information to the computer intermittently.
These tires provide excellent traction in wet, snowy and icy conditions. This is my second purchase of them for my Forester.
Michelin X-ice tires are so amazing. They're ultra quiet, have great traction in dry, wet and snow. Surprisingly, I also get the best gas mileage with these tires. Better than all seasons. They even work for summer driving although that's probably not recommended. The handling responsiveness is very good, but not as sharp as a Michelin all season.
Control driving strait isn't good. Constantly correcting steering wheel to drive straight
I've already driven in snow, rain, and through gravel roadways. My tires did not slip at all. I am very happy that I am prepared for the winter weather ahead.

I haul a trailer most of the time so traction in snow is critical. These tires really do a great job. We just got 20" of snow and I had to drive around the house over the unplowed lawn to get some tools and I had no problems going in, stopping, turning around and then getting going again. Iced up steep driveway has also been no problem at all.
As soon as I put them on I noticed a difference in driving, especially in the snow. Before I would sometimes get stuck in my driveway. Now I can just plow through and have no fear of getting stuck anywhere. Great tires. Would definetely buy them again from Mavis.
First winter tire I've owned that doesn't wear out prematurelt. A great value!
