Although AWD is of great importance in winter driving, having good snow tires is paramount. My Subaru with these tires tackled the steep hills I live on, even in hard-packed or loose, deep snow. I absolutely love these tires and will get them again when the time comes. I highly recommend them.
Awesome winter tire.
Great tires
Used to use Blizzaks, as my snow tire. They and Pirelli have always been the only snow-tire available for 20" rims. The Blizzaks always got me home, however, they easily fishtailed on wet pavement, on dry pavement, the cornering was awful, and were extremely loud. My old ones wore out, so I figured I'd give Pirelli a chance. What a difference! Beside being cheaper in cost, they hug the road in dry weather, on wet roads, they grip firmly, and we've just had several snow and deep ice storms. I drove around with ease, while many front-wheel drive cars couldn't make it up hills, and SUV's were sliding. I strongly recommend these for any rear-wheeled sports or muscle car in the winter. You won't be sorry!
