They are good tires

Great Tires, Expensive but woth every penny. Brewster Mavis is a great place. Peter & Dennis, store managers are the best. I have shopped at other mavis stores for other car needs (tires, brakes, etc) but have never found greater friendlier people than at this Mavis. I have recommended them to all my friends. Thanks.

This is by far the best tire I have ever bought for winter driving in Vermont. The vehicle handled like it was on rails in the snow the matter the depth of the snow. I found it very difficult to break the car free in cornering on the snowy conditions. The one major drawback of the tire is the sidewalls breakdown after two years causing cracks and eventually the tired to come apart. Tread life on these tires has lasted until the sidewalls broke out we were able to get 30,000 miles on these, and had not even made it to half tread life yet. The price just got beyond our control having to change out the tires every two years. We went with a cheaper tire this year in replacement of the cutting edge tires and have found a major difference. Not sure trading down was worth it.
