In search for replacements to the Continentals that came with the car, I chose Nexen brand because my brother had them. I'm extremely pleased with the performance of the tire. It's quiet, grips very well for the 286 hp front drive of my Passat V6. Braking is spot on. Wet performance is solid and in the snow the tires did great. Price is way more competitive than other international brands like continental or Michelin. I have no reservations about buying these again. They look good too. Often overlooked, but well worth your hard earned money. As good, and often better than mainstream brands in my opinion. I've driven cars for 100,000s of miles on goodyear, yokohama, Pirelli, continental, bridgestone, and cheap Chinese brands, and this brand, Nexen, is a premium tire.
